July,2011: The school Youth Festival is near and I promised my best friend KP that I'll help him out with his poetry competition.We were in different houses but still I decided to help my best friend.The problem with KP is,he don't know how to use the internet.One evening we(KP and I ) went to an internet cafe looking for the lyrics of poems.KP was in a slight dilemma on which poem to choose.Finally,we had to go for "നാറാണത്ത് ഭ്രാന്തൻ". We took the lyrics and well,he started practicing it,the very minute he laid his hands on the lyrics.That was the best thing about KP,'Being dedicated to the work he does'.I got the chance to see KP on Cloud 9 when he bagged the first prize for poetry.Although my house lost the Youth Festival(including my o-a-p),I was very happy that KP finally got the appreciation he deserved.After two days(the day after the Youth Festival was a holiday) as usual I went and sat with him.I noticed that he wasn't talking to me.I talked to him but he ignored me.It felt so terrible that I was on the verge of crying.Then I decided,'If he can ignore me,then I can ignore him too'.
The next day we didn't talk to each other.The day after that he came and talked to me.But,I ignored him.Then happened the most terrible event in both our lives.KP started to do all sorts of prank to annoy me.I felt so angry that I shouted at him,"If you are gonna disturb me again,I'm gonna complaint to the class teacher".The typical KP,he ignored my warning.So I asked him,"Can I go and complaint to the class teacher?".And he said,"Go on.I don't care".That was it.I gave a complaint to the class teacher and she scolded him in front of the whole class.That ended the relationship between me and KP.We became enemies,enemies who walk silently ignoring each other.The last thing I know,he walks in front of me,as if I don't exist and I walk in front of him,as if he doesn't exist.
April 13,2013: As of today,we have never talked to each other.
